When I clicked on the “Writer’s toolbox” Margaret Atwood kept coming up. Thanks for the assortment of terrific things to get a writer. I sent it on to my husband for a hint. One thing you didn’t have and that’s gloves for writers with fingers. In Winter my hand and fingers get chilly. I live in an old house.

Wonderful ideas! I have a few of these, including the typewriter pencil holder which was a gift from a former student when my book came out 💜 and I have your book.
I want the earrings next.

I think I need the LED pens. I had a brilliant idea in the middle of the night recently and I had to get out of bed (ugh) to write it down in the bathroom so I wouldn’t wake hubby! Thanks, Tara!

Reblogged this on Journeygirl and commented:
Hello fellow Children’s Writer’s and Friends,
This month, I’m reblogging again, rather than re-inventing the wheel, Tara Lazar has done all the hard work of finding Christmas present suggestions. If you’re after something with more of an Aussie flavour, check out my previous Christmas Gifts for Writers lists here, here and here.
Merry Christmas fellow travellers,
Savour the quest,

Love this list. I took Margaret Atwood’s Masterclass last year and she cracked up when she’d laugh at her jokes. She’d be so fun to hang out with! The inflatable dude was on my stepson’s list. Never knew this thing existed. LOL

The “book seat” is so ridiculous and also the one thing I need in my life! I’m very curious about these tea drops, but not prone to being the first to try new-fangled thingymawhatsits… Interested to hear reports from any tasters!
